ABOUT ME

I live in Bishopton, Scotland, with my partner Ann, and our several pets.

​I have enjoyed photographing many things from landscapes to kayak surfing, My main focus now is sports  and event photography,

Photographic Experience.

 

From around the age of 10, I always had a camera, starting with Polaroid, on to a 110 then 35 mm, when digital came out I moved across to a bridge camera, now I use a Nikon Dslr. 

 

I started, as most do, photographing any and everything as I developed my skills I found landscapes and wildlife became my focus. 

 

I've taken an on line pet photography course, written and delivered by Paul Walker, an award winning pet photographer (Via learningwithexperts.com) and then an OU course organised in conjunction with the Royal Photographic Society.

 

I achieved my HNC and HND in photography at West College Scotland, this has widened my scope and I am finding whole new areas of fascination for me. I was awarded the student prize for the photography course.

I have been published in Simond Hamond's book Kayak Surfing, and in an advertisement for the Canoe Association of Northern Ireland.
